Uniway had to improve its image


Uniway is probably Belgium’s largest e-commerce specialist, but there weren’t enough potential customers who knew that. “So we worked on our image to at least make the shortlist of all the large website projects”, says Kathleen Pierco.

Kathleen Pierco: “We want to use marcom activities primarily to build brand awareness. We can do this for instance by taking part in fairs and other events. Or we organise conferences, where we offer participants something concrete, such as showing them how to set up a collaboration site with SharePoint or create a portal. Increasing our brand awareness in this way also allows us to save on investments in advertising, which is still an expensive business.”
